2014 ~ Week 5

We had snow this week.  It was just enough to warrant a snow day, and almost completely gone the by the end of the next day.  My kind of snow!

It was the first time we've had snow in the Bean's lifetime.  He wanted to know where Santa was, as in his mind the two go hand-in-hand.  My only pictures of him in the snow are when the flakes first started to fall.  He didn't like it too much, and I couldn't get him to go back out.

It might as well have been the Biscuit's first snow too, because he didn't remember the "big" snow we had when he was just two years old.  He liked the snow, but was mighty disappointed there wasn't enough for a snowman.

We had to take the Bug outside for "1st snow" obligatory pictures.

Speaking of the Bug, he is so, so close to rolling over.

We gave the Biscuit an outdoor basketball goal for his birthday.  After the snow melted, it finally warmed up enough to put it together.  He "helped" his Dad, and has not wanted to do anything else but play basketball since they got it up.

This weekend we let him play some outside by himself.  So my view for most of Sunday afternoon looked like this, as I had to peek at him every two minutes...

He's five now, and the baby in him is all but gone.
